About Abdul-Khalik
Goal: 🌍 International honours
Abdul-Khalik Akenzua Al-Kareem, known as Khalik Kareem, is an English professional rugby union back row forward born on June 11, 2004. He plays across the back row, mainly at number eight, standing around 6ft and weighing 104kg, and is known as a fierce ball carrier with a high work rate. He was educated at Downside School before joining Bath Rugby, where he progressed to the senior academy and represented England at academy level. He made his senior debut for Bath in the 2023/24 Premiership Rugby Cup against Northampton Saints. In 2025 he moved to Worcester Warriors, who were rebuilding in the Championship, and quickly became one of Champ Rugby's standout young forwards, making 16 appearances and scoring three tries in the 2025/26 season. His performances earned him a move to Bristol Bears for the 2026/27 campaign, where Bristol director of rugby Pat Lam highlighted his power, athleticism and presence in collisions, as well as his hunger to keep improving. With experience at Bath, Worcester and Bristol before his 23rd birthday, Khalik is one of the most exciting young back rows in English rugby, and his stated goal is to earn international honours....
