About Salah
Goal: ⭐ U-21 World karate championship 2026 and World senior championship 2027
Salah Eddine Koubidy is a Moroccan karateka competing in the over-84kg kumite category for the Royal Moroccan Federation of Karate and Associated Disciplines (FRMKDA), and a full member of Morocco's senior national karate team. He began making his mark on the continental circuit at junior level, winning gold in the kumite junior +76kg category at the 2025 African Karate Championships in Abuja, Nigeria — one of five gold medals that helped Morocco finish second overall with 18 medals. The result also earned him qualification to the 2025 World Karate Championships in Egypt. On the WKF international circuit, Koubidy has continued to perform at senior level, competing at the Karate 1-Series A tournament in A Coruña, Spain in April 2026 where he defeated Latvian competitor Aleksandrs Obernihins by a score of 5-2 in the -84kg kumite category, demonstrating strong tactical control and offensive efficiency. Known for his physical presence, disciplined technique, and composure under pressure, Koubidy represents one of Morocco's most promising fighters in the heavier weight divisions. The FRMKDA has highlighted his technical and physical development as part of Morocco's broader programme of structured preparation for major international competitions. He trains under the national programme and is considered a strong contender for further honours at the African and world level in the coming years....
