Goal: 🥊 On my way to becoming world champion
Shannon Kelly, born February 2, 1993, in London, England, is a professional Muay Thai fighter competing in the light flyweight division (48-50kg), known in the fight world by her ring name Suaynakmuay — meaning "beautiful fighter" in Thai. Based in Ware, Hertfordshire, she trains out of Diablo Muay Thai in Barnet and Sasiprapa Gym, with a career spanning over 21 professional fights across Thailand and the UK. Shannon fell in love with Muay Thai at a young age and has spent significant time training in Thailand, including with Team Quest Muay Thai in Chiang Mai, where she claimed a local title. She studied at Falmouth University before committing fully to her combat sports career. In the UK, Shannon has established herself as one of the most exciting fighters in her weight class, becoming the MTGP (Muay Thai Grand Prix) British Champion at 48kg and reaching UK national ranking of 5th at 50kg. She has competed on prestigious promotions including the Muay Thai Grand Prix, Rajadamnern World Series, Rajadamnern Knockout, Fairtex Fight, and Destiny Muay Thai, accumulating experience against top domestic and international opposition. As of September 2026, she is ranked 4th in the world in the WBC Muaythai light flyweight division — confirmation of her growing status on the international scene and a major milestone on her stated journey to becoming world champion. Shannon is also a qualified Muay Thai coach, offering 1-to-1 sessions and group classes across north London and Hertfordshire, and runs her own fitness brand Suay Muay Fit. She is actively seeking sponsorship as she pursues a world title....
